Outdoors

Not every build was made for inside. Sometimes you need to get out there and touch some grass. Here are some examples of builds done for the outside.
See something you like? Let's talk.

Three Tier Planter
This planter holds steady and can be made into any size needed.
The current design is to hold the plastic containers that a plant comes in, but this can be altered to simply hold the plants themselves. The wood comes coated and sealed with a Cabot paint. Have a color in mind? Let me know.

The base price for this gorgeous three-tier design is: $140

The Troff Planter

This design takes the windowsill planter and makes it mobile. Feel free to plant what you want, where you want.

The design shown offers a thinner 5" deep space going down approximately 12". With 36" of long space, you can get creative and colorful.
This design also comes coated in a Cabot seal of your choice. Cabot looks like paint, but acts like a sealant, so you can use it outdoors without worry.

The base price for this is: $125

Raised Beds

Nothing beats a good raised bed for growing your own food.

This customer asked for raised beds that were 6ft long, 3ft wide, and 2ft tall. The added customization was to add poles so netting could later be tacked on.

Using treated lumber to help withstand the elements, the base price for this design is: $225 each.

Potting Bench

Customer needed a station to store their supplies, but also to assist in gardening tasks. Covered in Cabot's red sealer, this bench is ready to go season after season.

This particular build stands 5ft tall, 4ft wide, and bumps out 20".
The base price for this build varies based on the needs for storage and other dimensions.
$300

Backyard Imaginings

This build has a little bit of everything.
A 12ft by 12ft fire pit. Wooden Box Chairs, and a 6ft long Planter box.

The entire package depends on the sizes and how many of each item are needed. You can request the entire thing, or pick any elements that fit your needs.

If this is something that interests you, reach out. We can discuss each element in detail. An on-site visit would be required for the fire pit if that is an element you wish to have in your yard.

How can I help?

What do you want built?

This can be as vague or detailed as you like. I will be in touch regardless to confirm details and provide a cost estimate.

This can be used to point me to an example concept to better understand the build.

F.A.Q.

  • How long will my build take?

    • That all depends on what it is you want. If it's something that is already part of the Gallery, I can provide a closer timeframe when the order is placed.
All builds will have a timeframe given. Updates will be provided through the process. My goal is to beat the deadline and deliver early if possible.

  • What if I don't have the downpayment needed to start the build?

    • Depending on what is being built, and how payment is being made, it is possible we can come to a mutual agreement. That being said, please be ready to apply a downpayment up to 50% of the overall cost. This ensures materials are purchased quickly and that you are serious about the project.

  • Do I need to come get the build, or will you deliver?

    • If you come to collect the finished product yourself, there is no extra charge. If delivery is needed, an extra charge will be added to the invoice to cover mileage at a rate of .75 per mile. This rate matches the federal mileage rate. If the federal rate changes, my rate will change to match it.

  • What happens if I need to change a detail before the build is finished?

    • That's understandable. Sometimes we remember details after the build begins. If this change can happen without needing more materials and I haven't already gotten past that point, the change in scope can happen without any additional cost. It is possible more time could be needed depending on the change being asked for. If the time for this change has already passed, I will let you know that immediately. At that point, if the build is no longer required, the downpayment will not be refunded, but you will also not need to pay anything else. The build will remain with Builds By Jason, LLC and a determination will be made to either scrap, or, finish and sell separately at the expense of Builds By Jason, LLC.
